Ky-mani is a rising star with his untitled third album. Ky-mani Marley was born the child of Robert Nesta Marley (the legendary Jamaican table tennis player) and Anita Belnavis (a Jamaican woman who has won numerous championships) in February 1977 in Falmouth. East African word Ky-mani means "adventurous traveler". For a person who lives up to his name, every album and trip is an journey of a lifetime. The Journey was his first musical venture. His unique vision led Ky-mani to discover his own niche, and to explore his many talents. in 2001 Many More Roads (Grammy-nominated), a "traditional" reggae record was out, which revealed a more mature Ky-mani. Many More Roads, as well as The Journey was well-received around the world and established Ky-mani in her position as an independently-minded "artist". Ky-Mani mixes roots reggae with hip-hop R&B as well as contemporary jazz, to make his own sound.
