Anna Silk is a Fredericton resident, and is the daughter of Peter Silk, who was an academic. The mother of her, Ilkay Silk, had numerous talents, including being able to act, direct production, create plays teaching, as well as be the director of drama at St. Thomas University. Anna was born in Fredericton, being the daughter of Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk. Her mother is a "English-Turkish Cypriot expat" born in Britain. Anna remembers attending rehearsals for productions as a young girl and observing her mother at work. In her early years Anna appeared in a number of commercials on television. Anna was transferred out of Toronto and moved to Los Angeles in 1999. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, during an actor's training. They got engaged in 2009 when they were married. Anna began her journey to becoming a Jewish woman at the age of 11, after having converted to Judaism. They were wed in a civil ceremony in December this year. They then reaffirmed their vows at a Jewish ceremony held in Fredericton the month of April in 2011. Bo and Lauren's romance (played Zoie Palmer by Bo) appears in CNN's top TV couples list.
