Emily Bett Rickards was born in July 1991. She is a Canadian actor best known for her role as Felicity in The CW's TV show Arrow. Rickards is an British Columbia native. In order to begin her career, Rickards began performing in musical theater and dance with the intention of eventually being able to introduce more professional acting. She graduated from high school sooner than she anticipated and enrolled at the Vancouver Film School where she earned her acting essentials certificate. In the open call that followed the search for an agent, she was able to find one for her. Alida Vocal Studio was her place of study in Vancouver.
