Anna Paquin
Anna Paquin has been an actress across Canada and New Zealand for over a decade. Paquin is a Canadian and New Zealand-born actress. Born in Winnipeg but raised in Wellington the city where she was born, she made her first acting appearance as a character in The Piano. In this romance film, at the age of the age of 11, Paquin won her second Oscar for Best Actress. Anna Paquin's full title is Anna Helene Paquin. Born on July 24, 1982, at Winnipeg Manitoba Canada, she was an Canadian born New Zealand actress. As a child, Paquin won the Academy Award for best support actress. Her performance as the enthusiastic and lively young girl Holly Hunter played in The Piano (1993) brought her the award. Paquin played a minor role in the television movie of 1997 adaption to Carson McCullers' novel The Member of the Wedding. She also played the Princess of Spain in Steven Spielberg's Amistad (2007). The actress played teens in Hurlyburly (1998) She's All That (1999) as well as A Walk on the Moon (1999) and portrayed the groupie Polexia Aphrodisa in Almost Famous (2000).
